I did the 1/4 swim in 11:51
The 10+ mile bike ride in 40:03
And the 3.2 mile run in 29:15
I placed 236 out of 282 participants

- I was born in the Philadelphia area, lived in Boston for 10 years and now back home in the Delaware Valley again. I was a sprinter growing up and thought there was something wrong with distance runners. When I was unemployed, I had an epiphany of channeling my energy in doing something that would challenge me mentally and physically to take my mind off my situation. I now have a great job and have finished 5 marathons, 10 half-marathons and numerous 10ks and 5ks in the past 7 years. I have also been blessed with good family, a good wife and good friends.
